Face of Oxfam?

The Nerd Herd has found its first brush with fame as Jeremy has been chosen as the new face of Oxfam!

Okay so maybe a little photo editing has gone on here, but Jeremy has indeed been chosen to feature in this year's fundraising guide. He features on page 7 no less, on a page titled "Breaking down your Target". I don't think Jez is the target!

A new team is born - The Nerd Herd!!

Once the TrailTrekker 2013 event was confirmed a few of us from work decided to take on the challenge. Three of the team members are veterans - Joel, Jeremy and James with one new challenger - me! 

After a few laughs coming up with a team name we decided on "The Nerd Herd".   Sums us up really, we all work in IT (although some of us are nerds by nature!!).  My task was to create the blog and after playing around with various templates I eventually settled on this one, mainly because it will show off photos well.  Of course it may change again :-) 

So, next steps are to start planning the training, preparation, fund raising activities etc etc....!
