Super supporter Nick in action!! - Embsay Crag 27th Jan

Following some practice taking photos of runners in the WY League Skipton Cross Country race on Sunday morning, which Joel and Alastair Wallace (and many of the Skipton AC runners!!) took part in - myself, Nick and Alastair took a little "photography" walk up to Embsay Crag from the Reservoir.  We couldn't find the nicely gravelled path so ended up taking a bit of a detour which saw us through some very slippy, boggy, snowy, steep, rough parts and what felt like 90mph winds as we got towards the top.  Coming back down was much steeper although the terrain was easier and for most part we were travelling on our hands and bottoms!!  The highlight (or you could call scary/worried/panicky) moment for me was when Nick scrambled across a steep hilly bit to find a geocache!!!  The other was when we saw what looked like giant paw prints with claws planted in a big snowy patch!! lol
